2000 Jeep Laredo Engine trouble

Yesterday I had difficulty starting my car. Normally it starts right away, however this time it kept trying to turn over, but wouldn't until I finally gave it a lot of gas while starting. Now today, the car stalled while I was stopped at a stoplight, and it took about 5 minutes for me to get it running again. Any ideas on what is causing this?

My 1st step would be checking it for tune up
also if you cycle key on off on off on
that should give you any codes stored in the PCM
read the codes in the odometer area
let me know what you have for codes
