1983 Jeep CJ7 GAS GAUGE

I replaced original 15 gallon gas tank with a 21 gallon tank and now the gas gauge does not read correctly. What can I do to fix this problem?

Did we by chance invest in the SENDING UNIT FOR THE DEEPER (21 GAL) TANK?

I have the same tank under my '77 CJ5.

I had major problems with the fill hose (mine is bigger than yours). It did not want to cooperate!

Right now you probably have a full tank, until you use up 6-7 Gallons.
