2001 Jeep Cherokee overfill

I had trans service at 56,000 went for a checkup and my mechanic told me that the trans been over full since my last service of it.I noticed as its shifting into gear as I take off it wont shift so I went to the dealer and was told it needs gov pressure sol--transducer. My mechanic saiys its because its been over filled, what do you think?

Hi there,

This is a bit hard to tell, personally I feel that although it was overfilled, this problem is a result of component failure, with out viewing it first hand, it is just to hard to say.
