PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH (30RH & 32RH) Removal & Installation 1. Raise and support vehicle. Place drain pan under Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch located near manual shift lever on transmission. See Fig. 7 . Disconnect harness connector. Unscrew PNP switch from transmission case. 2. To install, apply parking brake. Ensure gearshift lever is in Park or Neutral. Ensure operating levers in transmission are centered in PNP switch opening on transmission case. 3. Using NEW seal, install PNP switch. Tighten switch to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reinstall harness connector. Adjust transmission fluid level with appropriate ATF. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS under LUBRICATION.

Tighten to 25 ft lbs
