1998 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello, I have a 98 jeep grand cherokee with a bad engine, I have come across a 95 cherokee that I can buy the complete vehicle cheaper than a rebuild kit for my engine now. Are engines and parts interchangeable? Both are the 4.0 inline six cylinders.

It should work, but I will say to check it closely because they change things all the time. Also, as a member of this site, I am to recommend direct replacement parts only. That way you will know for sure it will work.
