I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT MINE WAS SOLVED BY RE WIRING THE CONNECTIONS TO THE TRANSDUCER SWITCH ON THE GEARBOX. THE FUSE COVERING THE SPEEDO IS #4, BUT IT ALSO COVERS THE BACK-UP LIGHTS, SO IF THESE ARE WORKING, THE FUSE IS FINE.
