Engine problem
1998 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 80000 miles

My car was running fine, great the last time I drove it. I was running low on gas so I decided to wait until the morning to get some gas. The next day the car would not start, I added $5.00 worth of gas and it still would not start. All it does is turn over at a steady speed. I was told it could be my timing, is this true.

Hello, it is true it could be a timing concern. But I actually think the fuel pump is bad in the car. Should have some one check the fuel pressure. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can offer any more info
