1991 Jaguar XJ6 lifters
1991 JAGUAR XJ6
My Jag runs well but there is a lot of lifter noise. Sounds like a sewing machine. Can the lifters be adjusted?
have the same problem?

No, the lifters are self adjusting. They may be worn to the point where they can't maintain pressure or, the cam lobe(s) may be worn. You check the cam by pulling the valve cover.
