Hey im writing to ask you why my dads 4.0 litre jaguar has a auto transmission failure and the car wont start at all there was no limp home mode active it appeared when my dad went to start the car to go to work 1 morning I hope to hear from you soon

A transmission problem won't keep the car from starting. You must have another problem. You will need to determine what is missing to keep it from starting, spark fuel pressure or injector pulse OR, any combination of them all. Then you can start to narrow it down.
