1990 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Automatic 200, 00 miles

I'm getting gasoline fumes in the interior cabin. Why?

If you're sure it's gas fumes and not exhaust, check all the fuel lines from the fuel injection rail to the tank. If they look good, check the vent pipe in the trunk from the filler neck to the fuel tank.
