Hi, I recently purchased a 90 jag xj6.
and it didn't have any heat so I replaced the thermostat
and the heat works but now it wont run through 2,000 RPM to 3,500 RPM @ Normal Temp.
but it runs fine whens its cold.
also the vcm say's fuel fail and then flashes code 69 wich is neutral safety switch
whats a fuel failure have to do with code 69?

Hi, it sounds like it might be two things, first the neutral code culd tell the computer that the car is not in gearm the comp will limit the engine rpm, it just now shwed up becasue the engine is warm and now in closed loop. Or the temp sender for the ECM is bad causing the problem, please let me know, thanks for using 2carpros. Com
