I go to crank it up no check engine light on. So, when I drop it and drive and drive it like 4 or 5 blocks it cuts off but it's all, but it starts backup fine but it do not want to give it gas every time I give it gas it shuts down.

Hi,

Before this actually happens, does it run normally? I ask because it could be related to fuel pressure or a failing crankshaft position sensor. Either of those may or may not set the check engine light.

Do me a favor. Take a look through this link and see if you feel it mirrors what you experience:

Also, if you feel that doesn't seem to mirror what you experience, the next thing I would recommend checking is fuel pressure. Here is a link that explains how it is done. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but if you don't have one, most parts stores will lend one to you.

Let me know your thoughts or anything additional you can think of. For example, is there any smoke from the exhaust or odd odors?

Take care and I'll watch for your reply.

Take care,

Joe
