It felt like I was trying to go over a barrier as my car would not go forward but there was nothing there. I had just driven 50+ miles on the freeway and came off the exit and stopped at the light and when I tried to go again it felt like something was keeping me from driving. Like my emergency brake was on or something. Which it was not I never put it on. I was pulling an empty utility trailer 5 x 10 and I thought maybe The tongue had come off and was dragging on the ground preventing me from moving but I checked and it was still okay. I had no warnings or any sign that something was wrong. The guy behind me tried to drive it and couldn’t move it either and said I should at least try to get it into there park and ride lot and get it off of the road. So I slowly drove over it seem to disengage and then it seized up again, so I just waited for a tow truck. The tow truck driver noticed some kind of noise or something on the left front tire area. I just had my brakes fixed so I didn’t think it had anything to do with that. Is there any other information that you would need? Because I am so perplexed I have no idea what to do. Thank you for this site.

Hello,

This sounds like the differential has locked up. Remove the trailer and jack up the rear of the truck to see if the wheels will turn. Here is a guide:

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Please let us know.
