I'm having an issue with my blower, the AC works just fine, but no air comes out when the AC is on or when it's off. The air will blow sometimes, but most often it won't. I checked the fuses and replaced them, but nothing changed. Is there any way to know if it's likely the blower motor or the motor blower resistor by the fact that the fan does occasionally work? For instance, if it was the motor, would it still work sometimes?

Hi alexiprice,

Thank you for the donation.

Yes, if the fan motor is failing, it would still work intermittently. When carbon brushes are almost worn, the fan motor might stop working and any vibrations can cause the brushes to contact making the motor work again.

Under the glove box, give tha blower fan motor housing some banging with your hands and if the motor starts working, it is time for replacement.
