97 Isuzu Rodeo; 113k miles; 3.2 v6. My Rodeo has heat but the blower motor won't work. It doesn't work at any speed. I've tested the motor itself and it's fine. I actually have it hardwired to the fuse box now as a workaround. I have replaced the climate control unit in the dash but this didn't solve the problem. I do not have power in the plug/harness that plugs into the motor. I have checked the fuse, more than once and it's not blown. I am using a Haynes manual and they don't mention a relay anywhere. I don't know what else to check. This truck is in great shape with no other electrical problems. Please help me.

There are a few things that you can do right now. First turn the blower switch to each of the positions and see if you get power at the electrical connector. If you have power check that one of the wires are grounded to chassis. If you don't have a ground find out why you don't. If you don't have power then check the fuse for the blower then the blower resistor. What resistance reading did you get when you read the blower motor windings(is should be very low) second read each motor lead to ground to ensure that the motor is not grounded(you should read high resistance if the motor windings are not shorted to ground)? Hope this helps you.
