So, I've been doing some tweaking to the truck, finding a parasitic draw and removing damn aftermarket stuff!

I removed a Viper alarm system that didn't work anymore and was simply chopped cables and some spliced stuff.

My truck had a parasitic draw that was constantly draining batteries, turned out it was an amplifier, my cluster was also not super vivid, so I installed LED Bulbs, truck looks pretty good now but Its always had a service airbag light.

The codes started off as just B0100 and B0103.

I had been messing around with the BCM, cleaning it, making sure that nothing was not wrong with it ( someone suggested sometimes BCM can cause a parasitic draw ) in my case it wasn't, I also stumbled upon some cables under the dashboard that were simply not properly spliced into ( when the viper alarm was done ) I took off the spliced cables and redid the original cable, I decided to look into the codes again after I redid the cluster, fixed some wiring and fixed the steering column bearing, all of a sudden bunch of codes popped up in regards to airbags and dimming circuit.

The dimming circuit might just be ignored as I installed one a while ago because the old one was finicky and just not working properly but I was like, maybe it can be a collateral or something, either way here is what codes popped up (I use a BlueDriver code reader)

Shared Access Module Code

B2610 | Status : History / Current :
Passenger compartment dimming #1 ( Cluster, etc. ) Circuit malfunction

I don't really think the cluster got messed up, I could've done something wrong and burnt it ( it was my first time ) maybe poked something or moved something I shouldn't have.

Airbag Codes

B0083 | Status : History :
Second row left seatbelt load limiter deployment control

B0084 | Status : History :
Second row center seatbelt load limiter deployment control

B0100 | Status : History / Current :
Sensor cleaning Air Blower Actuator 'A'

B0103 | Status : History / Current :
Sensor cleaning Air Blower Actuator ' B' Control

U1000 | Status : History :
Class 2 Data Link Malfunction

U1096 | Status : History :
Lost communications with Driver Information and Displays Control System

If you guys require any pictures, anything, I am all ears, I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the truck so I can get it back to its original state!

You said the wiring has been tampered with, correct? Because you have many problems, and I don't know if this is one issue or many. I can tell you that LED bulbs can cause the dimmer problem. Can you tell if the airbag system wiring has been cut or spiced into for some reason? Here are the wiring diagrams for the airbag system so I can check it out, I would have the battery disconnected before working on the system. Also, for the battery drain issue please start another thread. I think this problem is separate. Here is a guide so you can check the wiring:

I can tell you that the clock spring behind the steering wheel goes bad. If you find a wiring problem and repair it clear the codes once the job is completed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hey Ken, In regards to the parasitic drain, I forgot to mention I had figured it out, It was the damn amplifier, was sucking up around.15 mAmps, removed it, the truck went back down to a solid 0.05 mAmps, but thank you for the diagrams, I'll look into them as soon as I can, the cables that were spliced into was power to the OBD2 so the Viper system could also have constant power if I'm correct, it was a purple cable from the obd2 port, but I re-did it, the airbag issue only really came up after I messed around with the cluster. But I'm unsure it was the problem, the dimmer, yeah, I assumed it was going to be the LEDs I installed, I'm not too worried about that, I love the outcome of the LED's, they're nice and bright, but I'm worried it may affect drivability once I'm in a dark highway, I'll have to see how my eyes feel, if it's too much I'll buy a new one. Besides all this thank you! I'll see the diagrams, trace the connections and hope I find my root problem!

Good find on the amplifier. I would check the wiring and put everything back to stock, also I don't like the aftermarket alarms as well, they cause nothing but trouble in my experience.
