Instrument panel lights not lighting

Instrument panel will not light. Changed fused under hood (#33) and it worked for a few hours. Not working again and cannot figure out why.

The first thing I need to know is if the new fuse has blown, too. If it has, it seems there is a short. Take a look at this link. It discusses what happens and how to check.

If you found that the fuse has blown again, power to the interior lights comes from the headlight switch itself. I would start there and check to see if there are any damaged wires or one that could be shorting. The switch itself could be bad too.
