Ignition Coil

12 volts positive is not reaching the ignition coil, no spark.

Hi,

First, I attached a wiring schematic I was able to find below. Here is what I need you to check. First, make sure there is power to the engine controller (pin 3) red wire. That power is provided via a fusible link. (See schematic).

If that is good, then we need to check for power at the ASD (automatic shutdown) relay. Power to the relay (power side for coil) is via the same red wire. When the relay is actuated, power is transmitted through the gray wire running to the + side of the coil. The Auto Shutdown (ASD) Relay is located in the engine compartment near the 50-way bulkhead connector. See pic 2 below
