Whenever I use the headlights, or radio my battery drains, then my SRS light comes on. Then the car tries to shut off. It starts puttering. I know there is a connection problem somewhere because when I hit a bump sometimes the power drains but sometimes if I hit another bump. The power comes on with a full charge. Once the power comes on again with full charge the vehicle runs perfect and the SRS light goes off. I did get into a little finder bender not too long ago by the headlights. I am thinking maybe that could have knocked some wires loose.

Hi Ellen,

That was what I was going to say. Up where the fender bender occurred that is a ground wire that sounds like it is loose. You can probably jack up the front end to find it.

Please let us know what happens.

Loose wires or a pinched wire in the harness. Shouldn't be too hard to find, just look for areas where the wiring runs and is squeezed. I would do it ASAP, if the wires get cut you may end up with more problems.
