My idle doesn't return when I let foot off the accelerator

My idle doesn't return when I let foot off the accelerator, but if I shift to neutral the RPMs drop to normal.

I have seen both the idle air control valve go out or get slow not adjusting the engine idle speed correctly. Also check the vacuum hose going to the PCV valve because they can tear and allow a vacuum leak. Here are two guides to help you with diagrams below to the PCV valve and IAC valve on your car:

You should service the throttle actuator as well.
