Replaced spark plugs, I think wires look to have been replaced once if they were original would they have the Chrysler emblem on them? New air cleaner and pvc valve. Cleaned air idle control valve. Car runs great under throttle power. Idle in park seems to be ok, put when you put it in gear it is low and rough. Thanks Alan

They should indicate the chrysler emblem. As far as the idle, are you sure there are no vacuum leaks on the engine? Have you checked the idle air control valve (IAC)? The IAC is responsible for maintaining the engine idle speed.

I don't see any vacuum leaks. I took out the Iac and cleaned it with carb cleaner. How do I now if it is working right? Is there a way to test it?

Remember, chances are you won't see a vacuum leak. Often times (VERY CAREFULLY) people will use carb cleaner and spray it on the vacuum hoses. If there is a leak, the RPM's will increase. Also, you can check vacuum by using a vacuum gauge to determine if it is low. As far as the IAC, I would suggest removing it and having someone cycle the key from off to on to see if the pintel is moving. If it isn't, check to see if there is power to the harness.

Check to see if there is a code. As far as the PS fluid, it will get hot. That is normal. I.M not sure why it is making noise. Are you sure the belt is tight?
