Okay, so night before last this started. I was backing out of a gravel drive and my car stopped like I hit something and a discernible bump was felt from my front driver's side tire. I was able to put it in drive to get out so I did and went down the road to the house and every moderate bump I could hear like a noise that was similar to something loose shaking and feel each bump on my side. It was a loud sort of shake bump noise. It kept doing this the entire time and when I drove to work. I went to reverse after work and it felt like slamming into a wall again and the bump was loud and I felt it again but after the bump I really could not go back without acceleration and I was not going to do anything after the noise. So my buddy came to see it and the whole wheel assembly and all jumps back after rolling a few inches which is the bump sound and we both have no idea what is going on.

You are going to have to put the car on a level concrete surface or asphalt and jack it up. Put a Jack stand under it and let the weight is the car on the jack stand. Then see what is loose. That is what I would do.

So the bolts holding my brake caliper on were gone and the noise and lack of reverse was I guess it binding up. So far after replacing the bolts and driving it feels normal again. Shout-out to the random mechanic who pulled over and helped me though.

Glad to hear you got the problem solved without getting the wheel off the ground and getting in there to have a look no telling what you might find.
