I have front hazard lights but no rear, The turning signals work around the car and the bulbs are new.
The brake lights work but the passenger side brake lights are dim even with new bulbs. I have replaced the brake switch on the pedal and still nothing There are no fuses are blown and there is nothing else wrong.

Did you make surevall the bulbs are the correct ones? Also do you have a multi meter to do some testing?

Yes sir, i'll have to find it and knock the dust off of it. I replaced the pigtail on the passenger side brake lamp and the brake lights are working good now. Go figure. I'm about to change the flasher relay and hopefully it fixes the rear hazard issue(only replacing the relay because it smelled burnt, even though it still worked).
Thank you for your time, Robert.

I would start with the flasher relay if it smells burnt. Keep me posted.

No go on the relay. Is the hazard switch on the column part of the turning signal switch by chance?

Yes the hazard switch is part of the combo switch. Did you dig out your multi meter yet?

With the hazards on see if you have a flashing power to the yellow wire and the dark green at the combo switch? Also was the car ever towed behind a motor home?
