I had to replace starter?

So I had to replace the starter on my Uplander because the old one the housing busted right at the cone of the starter but now when I turn the key all it does is clicks it doesn't even try to turn the engine over and also I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for the way the wires are supposed to go back on.

All of the wires go on the large lug except for the wire that has the small end it goes on the small terminal on the starter. Please go over this guide to help you, but I can say you might have a defective starter motor.
