I imported used Sonata 2014 limited from Korea.
Is there a way I can change the GPS setting to my existing location in middle east? Is there a way to install local software? If none of this is possible can I replace any aftermarket GPS radio system?
The one available in local market is different than my car and will not fit in it.
if you see in the picture it shows GPS info for Korea and Australia and it is receiving signals even though the car is in middle east.
The firmware is of Korean origin. Can there be a way to get middle east version?
i approached the local dealers in my country but they wont help and they don't support for used cars imported from Korea or USA.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

About the only way I can think of would be to contact Hyundai directly and order an updated SD card and use it to change the mapping. Being a newer vehicle changing out the system is a problem as it is integrated with a lot of the rest of the vehicle.
https://www.hyundai.com/worldwide/ Select your country at the top right. Then call the number or visit the website to get the new updates.
Shows they have Middle Eastern countries as supported on GPS for the Sonata, however there might still be a hitch if they didn't import the version of that car into your country. They will be able to tell you that.

Not surprising, they didn't sell you the vehicle. That is why I suggested going through Hyundai and finding the number for the corporate HQ in your country. They are the folks who are above the local dealers. If you talk to them they will either make the dealer help you or they will give you the information to get your update from the main company.
