Electrical problem
2006 Hyundai Sonata 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 75000 miles

my 2006 sonata's lights wont automatically turn off anymore. Sometimes we have to flip them to off then auto then back again and it still doesnt work. Sometimes if u wait a few min they will go off if u flip them to off or auto. Very frustrating.

It does sounds like the low headlight relay is sticking on. Here is a guide to help test it.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Here are the headlight wiring and fuse and relay diagrams so you can see how the system works and where to find the fuses and relays. I would try to swap the high and low relays to see if that fixes the problem if it does replace the low headlight relay.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
