My car wants to die

Hyundai Accent 2001 about 94,000 miles. When my car is idling it wants to die. I've changed the spark plug and wires and it helped but only for a few weeks now it is right back to where I started. My check engine light is not on however it has blinked at me a couple of times. No one I talk to knows what it is. Can you help

What other maintenence was done? Fuel filter? Air cleaner? Try some fuel injector cleaner in a tank or 2.
