Front-end body work - now turn signals do not work

I own 2002 Elantra Hatchback-mileage (77,000). I was involved in a multi-vehicle accident and rear-ended a vehicle. My front end damage required $4,200 of body work. In trying to save money, I chose a body shop that offered me a deal. It is now costing MORE $$ to use them--here's my question: I noticed-- after picking up my vehicle --the high beams worked & the turn signals worked but the low beams did not. I took the car back and they fixed the low beams, but it caused the turn signals not to work. The shop owner told me he'd have to call my insurance and then take the car back and take it somwhere else (dealer?). This shounds shady. He wont tell me what's wrong with it (but it's obvious it's his fault). I need to know what's wrong with it-I do NOT want to bring it back to him. If its not too costly, I just assume take it to a reputable mechanic and get it done right. Any help - much appreciated! Thanks!

Ya never know when your gonna get a deal and ya never know when your gonna get what you pay for. A bit of a twisted world.

You'll need to have a shop that is versed in electrical repair. Any good shop that is current with technology should be a ble to handle it.

Be prepared for them to tell about the workmanship of the collision shop. Gut feeling.
