Engine Cooling problem 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

Fans do not switch on at all when a/c is switched on and radiator boils. Checked fuses not blown, hoses fine, can you help?

This sounds like you have a radiator cooling fan motor that has gone out but to be sure use a test light and check for wiper at the motor when the air conditioner is on.

If there is power you need to replace the fan motor check out the guide below.

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken

My car overheated recently and cracked the radiator. I had the radiator replaced but now the radiator fans are not working. They were connected back in I have have checked and changed both fuses under bonnet. Am I missing something? Just can't get those damn radiator fans to work!

The switch I believe is in the bottom of the radiator, if not there let me know and I will look into it.
