Well my car quit going and had it towed and they found a alternator issue so I had it replaced. I picked my car up and today as I was going uphill on Ridgewood here in Jackson, my rpms would skyrocket and it would barely go. I managed to get to my destination around 5 mls down the road and then I called another tow.

Hi there,

This is sounding like a transmission problem, you can start with a scan to check for any electrical problems, and you will need to get the transmission checked by a qualified trans tech as they will have the testing equipment to track down this problem, start here.
