2004 Hyundai Elantra changing oil

The auto parts store gave me an outter transmission oil filter & I already look & took half of the engine apart and still cant find it I know its got to have one please help

The filter sits on top of the transmission housing (external) right under the ignition coil. So. If you see the ignition coil, just look further down at the transmission and you will be able to see the filter. It is indeed a screw in type filter and similar to engine one.
