All of a sudden car slowed, engine revved, engine light came on, eventually stopped moving (wasnt shifting), stopped car, shut it down, big puddle under front of car, red type substance.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-there's a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to come on. That is your starting point of diagnosis-finding out what's the problem.
