When I start my car it just accelerates by itself without me doing it I just start it and it happens and I dont know what is the problem with it; and the revolutions elevate up to 3500 . Please reply.

Do the RPM's return to normal? Also, has the check engine light come on? It sounds like either a vacuum leak or a bad throttle position sensor, but I need to know about the check engine light.
