HVAC I can’t get air to blow at my feet?

I can’t get air to blow at my feet, not sure if its the blend door or the actuator that’s the problem. I bought a Chilton manual and it only shows external things not under the dash things. I have the dash taken apart and it looks like there are 2 blend door actuators 1 on the top and 1 on the side by the drivers feet? It will blow air out the front and at the windshield when I adjust the knob but it wont change to blow at my feet> I think its the door itself but I cannot find any literature on how to get to them. I can see them but I can’t get my hands through the web of braces. There has to be something out there to show me on YouTube the videos are all different years and they don’t look the same as mine.I will buy a Haynes repair manual but before I do I need to know that it will show me how to get to there.

Yep, you are on the right track, it sounds like the mode blend door actuator is bad which is common. Here is the location of the actuator in question so you can replace the right one. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

As the image Ken posted alludes to there are two mode actuators on your HVAC unit. One controls the defrost door to panel the other is floor to panel. It sounds like the rear one might be the issue. These can be gotten to from the drivers side footwell. If you cycle the controls and unplug the electrical connections one at a time you can find it for sure. The replacement is simple, remove the screws and pull the actuator straight out. Install the replacement then do a recalibration using a scan tool or by removing the HVAC fuse for 5 minutes, then reinstalling it and turning on the key. Try to use an OEM actuator if possible, most of the aftermarket ones don't last very long because of the way they are controlled on a Chrysler. Most of them don't last 3-4 months.

Thank You both for the help, turns out when I got in there that the back (F.D.) Blend door arm is broken, dang plastic parts, now I need to figure out how to pull the housing assembly apart to replace that. Thanks Again
