The ABS light is on, service traction control light is on, service stability control light is on, change oil soon is on. We have already changed the oil and filter ourselves. How do we turn the other lights off or reset them? How do we reset the oil light soon?

Hi,

The oil light reset is easy to reset, and I attached the directions below, but the other lights are on for a reason.

Have you checked the brake fluid level? If it is low, it can turn the lights on. If it is full, the next most common cause of all these lights is a faulty wheel speed sensor.

If you look below (pics 2 and 3) I highlighted the wheel speed sensors. There is one at each wheel. Pic 2 is the front. Locate the sensor and follow the wire to the electrical connector and disconnect it. Then follow the directions in this link to check each one.

I recommend starting with the ABS wheel speed sensor simply because if one fails, it will turn all the lights on you mentioned.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
