I have replaced the light bulb in the gear shift light indicator and it still does not work. I was wondering if there is a fuse or what I can do to check something else to get it to work. Thank you kindly for your time.

If the other switch lights work, i.E. The light switch, traction control and the ones in the steering wheel the issue is likely in the wiring to the lamps. I would take a test light and use it to test the power and ground at the lights. Get access to the bulb sockets, turn the lights on and turn the dimmer up. Now use the test light connected to ground and test for power on the violet wire with gray stripe. If you have power the ground side (black wire with green stripe) is the problem. If the ground tests bad, you could just run a jumper for the ground.
If the other lights are out as well then it could be the lamp driver that is part of the smart fuse box. Testing should show the issue.
