Hi there, I just did a brake fluid flush on my car however I still see that my reservoir is still dirty. Is there a way to take off the plastic piece and deep clean it also I found out that I can replace the grommets on the master cylinder? If so, which items do you use?

It can be cleaned but not easily. You can use something like a turkey baster and remove the fluid. Then use something like tweezers or hemostats with a light spray of brake clean or alcohol and wipe out the inside of the reservoir. You won't get all of it, but it should be much cleaner. Then refill with new fluid.

Hi there. Thank you for the reply. Since there are grommets that I can replace. Do you recommend if I take it out and deep clean it?

No real reason to take it apart unless it is leaking at those seals. I would just get it clean so you can see the fluid levels and call it done. Very easy to damage vintage plastic like that.
