How many belts does the car have

It turned off, made a noise and turned off. Not power steering fluid, not the oil, not water, not the water pump and not the transmission fluid.

There are two belts one for timing cam and one for rest of drive like alternator power steering etc. Are recommended replacing at 60,000 miles. So you can pull timing cover off and see if it is broken or check compression the timing belt is recommended for 120,000. See picture to see which are removed. If belt is loose then there is a problem.
