Was any repairs carried out prior to it happening?
Is the Check Engine Light showing?

Well didnt have this problem before just one day the check engine light came on and didnt want to drive over 3 1/2 rpm. Yea the check engine light do come on. The only repair that was done to it was the distributor, replace it my self.

After replacement of the distributor, is the CEL still indicating?

What was the trouble code retrieved?
Was the ignition timing checked after replacement of the distributor?
Is unit new, used or rebuilt?
