I HAVE A 1995 HONDA PASSPORT (SAME AS ISUZU RODEO) THAT HAS BEEN ACTING FUNNY LATELY. IN THE LAST WEEK IT WON'T START ON THE FIRST TRY. MY BATTERY POWER SEEMS FINE, I'LL HEAR THE CLICK EVERY TIME I TURN THE KEY, BUT IT WON'T CRANK. I'LL DO THIS SOMETIMES FOUR OR FIVE TIMES UNTIL IT FINALLY CRANKS. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME BUT IT'S STARTING TO HAPPEN MORE AND MORE. COULD THE STARTER BE GOING BAD? OR COULD THIS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE IGNITION?

THANKS, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Well, after reading up more info on the net, it sounds like it's the starter that's going. Two hour job for a good mechanic. Remove the left front exhaust pipe to get in there from what I read. I'm assuming the starter would be located right above that. Too bad it's not a faulty ignition switch!
