This is not as easy as you were let on! I have a 1998 4WD Passport and according to the manual you have to indeed remove the caliper, but then you have to take out wheel bearings, yank the axle and a few other things just to get to the rotor assembly. It is detailed in the Haynes repair manual pretty well, but count on two to three hours per side and lots of parts laying around to get it done.

Does anyone know how complicated it is to replace the front brake rotors and pads on my vehicle 4WD? I have done GM's many times and they are pretty simple, however I am not quite sure what to expect with this vehicle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
