Transmission problem
2004 Honda Odyssey Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The "D" light starts to blink while driving. Perhaps after downshifting while passing on the highway. Not sure why, though. The book says I have a potential problem with my transmission. What should I do? How serious is my potential problem?

Hi Thomas,

You would need to scan the PCM to retrieve the code to know the potential problem. It could be anything from a loose/bad wire connections to replacement of transmission.

Get the scan dione and let me know the exact trouble code. Autozone performs the scan free.
