My van got flooded for less than 5 minutes, and then it stoped. And when I attempted to restart it, it wouldn't start anymore. The water came inside, about 4 inches or less. But we were only on the flood less than 5 minutes as I said before. I'm going to bring it to Auto Shop (honda). I want to know what to expect? If this is not a major problem? If the van has a chance? Or any other any information you can give me. Thank You

Hi jcpb891,

Looks like it is not going to be a cheap repair.

If the engine stalled due to water getting into the combustion chambers, expect bent con-rods or even cracked blocks.

If 4 ins of flood water got into the interior of vehicle, the PCM and other electronic components might have been damaged.

Wishing you the best of luck, you need plenty of it.
