Shakes or Wobbles problem
2002 Honda Odyssey 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

Vibration of wheel noted after 30 minutes on highway driving 80-85mph on upslope. Seems like things need to warm up before problem occurs. Vibration stops immediately with release of gas pedal and coasting at high speeds then will start again upon re-accelerating. I've changed solenoids and inspected CV joints but cannot figure it out.

Hi joe gallagher,

Check the inner CV joints for excessive side play. Torn rubber boots or spilled grease is an indication of bad joints.

If the joints are good, check where the CV joins the trans for excessive side play. If the joint has too much side play where it is plugged into the differential, the trans differential has too much wear internally.
