Recently, while having my A/C running and the car at idle (at a stop light/sign) the car seems like the engine is going to stall out. Once I come to a ocmplete stop and have the engine at idle, the engine drops down and then revs up again and then drops down and then revs up again. This will continue until the car is put in neutral, park, or the engine is reved up to above 3k. The rear A/C also stopped working recently. I don't know if this is related to the current problem or not, but I thought that I would throw this out there too.

Hi anigethc,

If the AC works fine while driving, then most probably the idling speed is too low causing the AC to cut in and out.

Is the rear AC not cold or the blower is not functioning?
