Transmission problem
2009 Honda Fit 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 26000 miles

i took my car in for some repair. My gear keeps poping back out to neutral when I shift to 5th gear. When they checked, they notice that the transmission plugs were missing. They say that cause the gears to be like it is and it damage the syncros and gears. They say that when I took my car for a oil change, someone checked my transmission and forgot to plug back in. Now I asked someone from the oil change place, they say that if the fluid were leaking out, the car wouldnt of run at all, or wouldnt start at all.

Hi there,

The d ©tent plug is nothing like the oil check plug, but if they did remove this plug, the transmission would still work and the car will still start, you would get some oil leaking, how long has it been like this.
