I would like to know how to replace the drivers side air bag module. My side air bag went off without reason.
Please if possible give step by step directions and a diagram.

Please note. The drivers side air bag is located in the side of the drivers seat! The front drivers side air bag is located in the wheel. I need the instructions for installing the air bag module in the drivers side seat!

Make sure before replacing the air bag
the old problem was fixed or the new bag will deploy again

Removal
Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
Remove the access panel (A) from the steering wheel, then disconnect the driver's airbag 4P connector (B) from the cable reel.

Using a Torx T30 bit, remove the two Torx bolts (A).

Remove the driver's airbag (B).
Installation
Place the new driver's airbag (A) in the steering wheel, and secure it with new Torx bolts (B).

.
Connect the cable reel to the driver's airbag 4P connector (A), then install the access panel (B) on the steering wheel.

Connect the battery negative cable.
After installing the airbag, confirm proper system operation:
Turn the ignition switch ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
Make sure the horn works.
