Puts out black smoke when revving

Hello,

Yes, it very well could be a fuel injector that is stuck open. Black smoke is usually a sign that too much fuel is being burnt by your engine. How are you managing your fuel or is the turbo stock?

Engine is standard mate, turbo stock.
There was quite a bit of difference between the mg delivery on injector 3 .
1..2...4 where around about 0.60 ...
Injector 3 was -1.9 ....
So something a bit wrong ...
Removed them for testing tomorrow .

Okay, how are you testing the fuel injectors? Do you have them on a flow bench? Usually you test fuel injectors with a Digital Multi-meter [DMM] and test the resistance across the terminals. You want to do this when they warm and then again when they are cold. Usually a high impedance fuel injector should have between 10 - 15 Ohms of resistance. Fuel injectors will usually fail when they get warmed up because the coils inside of them will expand with the heat a short out. You can usually see a difference in the Ohms from when they warm and then when they cool down. Please get back to us with what you find out.

I have seen a bad turbo cause this. can you remove the inlet or exhaust tube to check end play? Here are 2 guides to help us fix the problem:
