2004 Honda CRV motor flush

I was at auto zone and saw a can that flushes your engine from gunk I thought of use in it but remembered that my friend andvised me that that was just a scam and that it acually makes it worst. Would you advise using those enigne flush that are sold in auto part store?

Hi ramos82,

In my 28 years of working experience, I have never encouraged the use of flush or oil treatment.

A good oil and filter would take out the dirt during oil change and protect the engine well.

Just remember to change the oil if it is due.
