I have a bad air fuel ratio sensor(California emission) on my honda cr-v 2002. What would you suggest on what type of sensor to buy for my car? The dealership state it will cost $450 or more to repair.

You may be able to save a couple bucks going to an independent shop, at least on the labor rate. I do however suggest you use an OE (original equipment) part. Hondas seem to like them better than aftermarket parts

I am planning to buy the sensor online. Can you recommend a good website to buy Honda parts? Or should I let the independent shop buy the sensor?

Its kinda like taking your own food to a restaraunt. Let them supply the sensor, just tell them you want OE parts, not aftermarket.
